LOOK: Fans react to ESPN issuing an apology for James Carville’s GameDay conspiracy theory

Not many people out there are fans of the SEC’s controversial targeting call on LSU LB Devin White, one that will cost him the first half of Saturday night’s Alabama game.

Among those outraged by the call is political pundit and LSU superfan James Carville, who stopped by the College GameDay set on Saturday morning.

As you can see in the video below, Carville laid out a conspiracy theory that the SEC is in the bag for Alabama, pointing out that many of Alabama’s opponents have been missing their best defenders:

ESPN, the owner of the SEC Network and holder of many SEC broadcast rights, apparently thought that went too far, issuing the below apology at halftime of games across the network:
