Tim Tebow had an impressive year at double-A Binghamton this season, hitting .273 with six home runs and 36 RBI in 271 at-bats.

Though Tebow is now back doing work for ESPN and the SEC Network, his baseball career will continue next spring.

The New York Mets brought in a new GM this offseason — Brodie Van Wagenen — and on Tuesday, he said the former Florida quarterback is likely to begin the year at triple-A, but there’s a chance he could make the Mets’ Opening Day MLB roster:

That seems like quite the jump, but what Tebow has done as a baseball player is nothing short of incredible.

The man is a talented football player, baseball player and broadcaster, so would it really surprise anyone if he took some hacks for the Mets next summer?
