It’s common for coaches to open their press conference with an injury report. Chad Morris’ Monday press conference opened one of the more uncommon injuries: a player being hit by a car.

Morris revealed that freshman DB Jordon Curtis was hit by a car leaving the team facility Sunday. Curtis was hit in the crosswalk at the Fred W. Smith Center.

Curtis was transported to the hospital and has already been released, according to Morris.  He confirmed that Curtis would be out this week.

The Razorbacks travel to Missouri to face the Tigers on Friday. The game is set for a 2:30 p.m. ET kickoff and will air on CBS.

Arkansas’ stats do not indicate that Curtis has played this year.
