Kentucky LB Kash Daniel is an emotional player and is never afraid to speak his mind, so it’s no surprise he called out Kentucky fans for a less-than-stellar showing during Senior Day.

Daniel said the seniors deserved a packed stadium, but that wasn’t the case when the Wildcats beat Middle Tennessee on Saturday.

However, on Tuesday, he struck a different tone, apologizing for his remarks. As you can see below, he stood by saying the seniors deserve a lot of credit, but apologized to any fans who may have been offended:

“I’m sorry. My bad. If I pissed somebody off, my bad. I just love my teammates so much and I just love this senior class. I just wanted them to go out with a bang.”

Maybe Kentucky fans will show up in force to the bowl game this year to send off the deserving senior class.
