Merry Christmas from all of us at SDS!

There’s no better way to start your Christmas Eve day than watching Kentucky’s Josh Paschal’s return to the football field.

At Kentucky’s Media Day, a somber Mark Stoops announced that his defensive lineman had malignant melanoma after a spot was discovered on his foot, but through all the pain, he continued to fight his way back to the football field.

Here’s a description of the video from KYWildcatsTV crew, “Fight For 4:”

Josh Paschal was diagnosed with the malignant melanoma on the bottom of his right foot just before fall camp opened and endured three surgeries, followed by ongoing monthly immunotherapy treatments. After strenuous workouts in the weight room and with the team’s medical and strength staffs, Paschal returned to practice in late October before returning to the field as a starter for the final home game of the season.
