Fans not impressed by Notre Dame-Clemson, wonder if Georgia could beat both teams

As halftime approaches, Clemson and Notre Dame are locked in an ugly game in the Cotton Bowl — a College Football Playoff semifinal.
Special teams mistakes and sluggish offenses have led to a 16-3 scoreline, and neither team looks like a top-four squad at the moment.
It’s safe to say Georgia fans (and other fans across the country) have taken notice of the struggles (particularly by the Irish) and are weighing in on whether the Bulldogs should be in the Playoff instead.
As you can see below, the takes are hot as a borderline unwatchable game has reached halftime:
So best and most deserving. We all agree Georgia is better than Notre Dame now however Notre Dame was 12-0. Let this be a lesson to us all

Osu and Georgia are better than both Clemson and Notre Dame. Admitting one of those is truly painful.

Georgia didn't deserve to make the #CFBPlayoff, but the coaching staff has to be sick watching Notre Dame and Clemson right now…

Granted I’m a little bias, but we (Georgia) would beat both Clemson and Notre Dame by at least 17 points.

It’s still early, though, so perhaps the Irish can fight their way back. However, if they don’t, many fans will say they don’t deserve a spot in the final four even if they go undefeated in subsequent years.
