It has been rumored for a while that Alabama assistant Butch Jones would be following Mike Locksley to Maryland, but a report on Sunday morning put that rumor into doubt.
Now, though, it appears the former Tennessee coach may be leaving Tuscaloosa, after all.
As you can see in the photo below, a Twitter user seemed to spot Jones on a flight to Baltimore on Sunday morning:

Of course, this doesn’t mean for certain that Jones is leaving the Alabama staff. He could be going just for an interview, or he could have other business in Maryland (unlikely, but still a possibility).
We could have an answer on Jones’s future soon, though, and this news on Sunday morning seems to provide a big clue as to where Jones is heading.
