Alabama has lost yet another staffer.

Maryland and Mike Locksley have hired Mike Miller as the tight ends coach. He spent the last two seasons as Locksley’s graduate assistant at Alabama. He worked primarily with Alabama’s quarterbacks and wide receivers.

Miller came to Alabama after coaching the quarterbacks and coordinating the offense at Charlotte Christian High School in 2016. He also served as a student assistant at Clemson in 2015.

The Terrapins new tight ends coach was a former quarterback at UAB in 2011-12.

Maryland announced the hire on social media:

Alabama has lost five on-field assistants — Dan Enos (Miami), Locksley, Josh Gattis (Michigan), Brent Key (Ga. Tech) and Tosh Lupoi (Cleveland Browns) and numerous support staff personnel since losing to Clemson.
