LSU beats out Clemson, Alabama to land commitment from elite 4-star 2020 linebacker
The LSU Tigers got jumped in the 2020 recruiting rankings on Monday night when the Alabama Crimson Tide landed a commitment from an Oklahoma flip.
However, coach Ed Orgeron and the Tigers didn’t wait long before retaking the top spot in the rankings, landing a 4-star linebacker from Virginia shortly thereafter.
As you can see below, 4-star ILB Antoine Sampah announced he was committing to the LSU program via his Twitter account on Monday night:

Per the 247Sports composite, Sampah is the No. 2 inside linebacker in the class of 2020 and the No. 2 overall recruit from the state of Virginia.
Sampah is the 14th player in the Tigers’ 2020 class, which currently ranks No. 1 in the nation and No. 1 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
