Tennessee OL announces he’s medically retiring from football following knee injury

Playing offensive line is no easy task, as bodies are constantly flying around you and rolling up on your knees.
After suffering a knee injury during his Tennessee career, redshirt sophomore OL Eric Crosby is calling it quits on his football career.
As you can see below, Crosby announced via Twitter on Wednesday that he was medically retiring from football to try to let his knee recover properly:

McCoy is the third Vols offensive lineman to retire this offseason, following in the footsteps of Tanner Antonutti and Devante Brooks.
We hope McCoy is able to recover and become pain-free in the near future, but the Vols will certainly miss the depth he provided along the offensive line.
