Report: 2020 CB prospect Josh Ancrum killed in shooting in Miami

Another young football player has been killed in a shooting, according to a report from 247Sports.
This time, it was 2020 CB Joshua Ancrum, a 3-star prospect out of the Miami area. The news of the shooting was initially reported by Local10.com, though that report didn’t give the teenager’s name.
However, sources confirmed to 247Sports that it was Ancrum who tragically died in the shooting after being shot in the upper body:
Class of 2020 football prospect Joshua Ancrum was tragically killed in a shooting in Miami Gardens on Tuesday afternoon, multiple sources told 247Sports.
The South Florida Express, Ancrum’s 7-on-7 team, posted this tribute to their fallen player on Twitter:

Per the 247Sports composite, Ancrum was the No. 150 cornerback in the 2020 class and the No. 222 overall recruit from the state of Florida. He had offers from Bowling Green, FIU, Southern Miss and USF.
