Every year, thousands of high school football players post their season highlight videos, trying to get noticed by college programs so they can earn a scholarship.
But what if you don’t play football (or any other sports, for that matter)? How do you get noticed? The answer for recent high school graduate Nick Brought was to show off his extreme lawn mowing skills.
As you can see below, Brought put together a hilarious video of himself doing hairpin turns and other silly things on a lawn mower to jokingly entice colleges to give him a scholarship:
What’s up twitter? My name’s Nick Brought, I’m 17 years old, just graduated High School, and this is my 2019 Lawn Mowing Highlight Tape. Rt to help me get committed ‼️? pic.twitter.com/5O1mTmUjwI

For all you lawn purists out there, don’t worry — no actual lawns were harmed during the making of this video. Brought clarified that he didn’t actually have the blades down while making this video:
also because yall really wanna make fun of me, the blades are up and off in this video. my dad would kick my ass if i actually mowed like this lmao

He’s definitely mowing at an SEC level, so maybe a team will bring him on to help with the groundskeeping this fall.
