College football fans react on social media to Notre Dame leading Georgia at the half
Heading into Saturday night’s showdown in Athens, everything favored Georgia: ESPN’s FPI, ESPN’s SP+, the betting line, etc.
Unsurprisingly, Notre Dame came to play and is giving Georgia a game through the first two quarters. In fact, the Fighting Irish lead 10-7 at the reak.
As you can imagine, with this the primetime CBS game, college football fans and media members of all allegiances are watching – and tweeting.
Here’s a sample of the first-half social reaction to a score some weren’t expecting:

Georgia, asleep at the wheel. Brian Kelly is out coaching Kirby Smart, folks.
You think he was tired of hearing about Notre Dame vs Top 5 teams last 20-years?
