A season-ending injury is feared for former Missouri lineman Justin Britt, as Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll announced a torn ACL for Britt.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported earlier Sunday that Britt was ruled out quickly, and is feared to have a serious and season-ending knee injury, sources said. He’ll have an MRI to confirm, but Seattle has likely lost its starting center. Britt suffered the injury on Sunday in a game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Britt was taken in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft by Seattle. He’s started 85 of 86 games for the Seahawks since.

Britt started 36 of the 49 games games he played for Missouri, starting 30 of those contests at left tackle and six 2012 games on the right side. As a senior, was an Associated Press All-SEC first-team selection and received second-team honors from the league’s coaches. Started all 14 games at left tackle playing a major role in the rushing attack establishing a school single-season record with 3,330 yards.
