Texas A&M defensive lineman Justin Madubuike announces his plans for Texas Bowl, 2020 season

Texas A&M will face off against Oklahoma State in the Texas Bowl without one of its key players.

That news was just shared by junior defensive lineman Justin Madubuike, who has declared early for the 2020 NFL Draft. Madubuike will likely be one of the first interior defensive linemen selected during the next NFL selection process.

Madubuike also announced he will not play in the upcoming Texas Bowl against Oklahoma State.

The Texas native appeared in 38 games in his Aggie career, leading the team in tackles for loss (11.5) and sacks (5.5) this season. Madubuike finishes his career with 105 tackles, 24.5 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, five forced fumbles and an interception. Those numbers would be good for any SEC defender but are simply ridiculous for an interior lineman.
