Many believe Tua Tagovailoa is facing the toughest decision of his young life as Alabama’s starting quarterback has the opportunity to return to Tuscaloosa for his senior season or declare early for the 2020 NFL Draft.

However, not everyone feels the decision is a difficult one to make.

Tagovailoa has already announced he will be making his decision on Monday, Jan. 6, and while it appears the Alabama signal-caller is wrestling with his decision behind-the-scenes, former Missouri standout and longtime NFL quarterback Chase Daniel believes there should be little debate when it comes down to what Tua should do.

“I would say run as fast as you can go, go to the National Football League – for a multitude of reasons. The main thing is, man if you come back and you get hurt, there’s no first-round pick in your future,” Daniel said Friday during an appearance on the Paul Finebaum Show. “There’s 32 teams in the National Football League, of course, it only takes one to fall in love with — you saw back when Tim Tebow got drafted by the Broncos, they traded up for him. It only takes one, so if he’s given a clean bill of health, which I think he has, I think you’re going to see him decide to leave Alabama for the NFL on Monday.”

While some may be quick to question Daniel when it comes to this subject, those in NFL circles know the former Missouri quarterback as one of the smartest businessmen in NFL history.

Case in point, Daniel has made $24.3 million in his NFL career, which equates to $311,594 per pass thrown or $261,337 per yard ran according to FiveEightThirty.com.

You may be able to question Daniel’s ability to play in the NFL, you can’t question he knows what’s he’s talking about when it comes to making the most money possible at the next level.
