LSU linebacker Patrick Queen announces his plans for the 2020 season

Moments after defensive back Grant Delpit declared early for the 2020 NFL Draft, LSU linebacker Patrick Queen has done the same.

That’s now two Tiger starting defenders to declare early for the draft after LSU won the national championship on Monday night over Clemson. Queen appeared in 39 games during his college career in Baton Rouge.

For the second season in a row, LSU will have to find a new starting middle linebacker that left school early as Queen stepped up to fill the void left by Devin White last offseason. Queen racked up 85 tackles this season and 131 for this career.

Following LSU’s 42-25 win over Clemson in the title game, Queen was named National Championship Game Defensive MVP.
