Dave Aranda takes out newspaper ad thanking LSU fans
Dave Aranda put together a few great defenses at LSU, including the one that helped the Tigers win the national title this past season.
Now, he’s off to try his hand as a head coach, as he was hired to replace Matt Rhule at Baylor after Rhule left for the Carolina Panthers.
Aranda may be gone, but a part of him will always be a Tiger. On Sunday, he took out an ad in a Louisiana newspaper thanking the state, the program and the fans:
Not only a champion … also a class act. @CoachDaveAranda thanks #LSU and whole state in newspaper ad. ? #Respect pic.twitter.com/TOq6Rav08X

That’s a classy gesture from the outgoing coordinator, and one LSU fans will surely appreciate.
Now, we’ll see if he can continue having success with a Baylor team that Rhule rebuilt.
