The latest edition of the XFL, unfortunately, didn’t last very long due to the coronavirus pandemic but at least playing in the league paid off for former Texas A&M offensive lineman, Avery Gennesy.

After playing for the Houston Roughnecks of the XFL, the Tennessee Titans announced they have signed Gennesy on Friday. The Titans hope to play Gennesy at guard but could possibly slide him out to tackle, as his versatility likely helped him catch the eye of the NFL franchise.

Gennesy has never played in an NFL game, although he has spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Cleveland Browns and the Denver Broncos.

The former Aggie lineman started every game at left tackle during his junior season in College Station.
