LSU had little trouble finding the basket on Saturday in a 104-80 victory over Auburn as Will Wade’s team reached a scoring mark not seen since 1994.

The 104 points were the most the Tigers have scored against an SEC opponent since 1994. LSU has won three in a row and is 10-2 at home this season. Five LSU players reached double figures, including Trendon Watford, who scored 18 with 11 rebounds, Darius Days scored 17, Javonte Smart 16 with six assists and Josh LeBlanc scored 12 with 10 boards.

Cameron Thomas, the reigning SEC Freshman of the Week, scored 27 points, his 15th 20-point game of the season, as he continues to leads all Division I freshmen in scoring 20-plus points in a game.

Thomas was 7-of-16 shooting with three 3-pointers and made 10 of 11 free throws.

It’s the first time LSU has scored 100 points in in an SEC game since losing 108-105 in OT to Arkansas on March 2, 1994.

This has been a theme all season for LSU. It scored 50 points in the first half, and that was the third time this season the Tigers have done that.
