Former Ohio State players involved in ‘tattoo-gate’ calling for records be reinstated

Once Reggie Bush asked for his Heisman Trophy to be returned, you just had to know that was going to cause other former athletes to make similar requests.
With name, image and likeness now the law of the land, former college standouts are seeking the NCAA to back down from previous punishments handed out and former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor just stated his case.
The former Buckeye was involved in the infamous “tattoo-gate” incident in which five Ohio State players were suspended for the first five games of the 2011 season for selling merchandise and receiving “improper benefits” from a tattoo parlor.
The players sold their Big Ten championship rings and a trophy earned from the Fiesta Bowl and led Jim Tressel to resign at Ohio State.
Now Pryor has issued the following statement calling for the NCAA to reverse its punishment against the five players and Tressel:
