Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz is not pleased — not only his defense, but the lack of depth among his linebackers.

Drinkwitz expressed his anger and frustration during his Tuesday press conference. Drinkwitz said he wished the Tigers could play 5 linebackers in the rotation, but there aren’t 5 worthy linebackers on the roster at the moment:

Harsh words, but he has reason to be upset. The Tigers have given up nearly 1,000 yards on defense in their first 2 games of the season and are ranked No. 121 in the country in total defense while giving up nearly 30 points per game.

Coming into this season, Mizzou was trying to find a replacement for linebacker Nick Bolton, who is now in the NFL playing for the Kansas City Chiefs.

While Blaze Alldredge and Devin Nicholson are playing well, the depth behind them leaves much to be desired.
