Evan McPherson played the hero Saturday night for the Cincinnati Bengals, as Cincy — yes, Cincy! — advanced to the AFC Championship Game.

On a day when the Bengals offensive line was absolutely putrid — Joe Burrow as sacked 9 times by the Titans defense, McPherson came through when his team needed him the most.

The rookie from the University of Florida made 4 crucial field goals and accounted for 12 of his team’s 19 points, but none of them were bigger than the last game-winning kick. With seconds remaining in the game tied at 16-16, McPherson drilled a 52-yard field goal for the win.

McPherson is 8-of-8 now in the NFL Playoffs.

The Bengals picked off Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill to setup the game-winning field goal.

The Bengals now advance to the AFC Championship Game agains the winner of the Bills and Chiefs.
