John Rhys Plumlee has looked good for UCF in the second half of a rare, but welcome Wednesday night matchup between the Knights and SMU. The game was rescheduled following the impact of Hurricane Ian.

Plumlee, a former Ole Miss quarterback and Ole Miss baseball outfielder, transferred to UCF at the end of last season and was named their starting quarterback.

He struggled in the early going of this one, but has since put on a show out of the halftime break.

Plumlee has thrown for 827 yards, 5 touchdowns and 3 interceptions this season thru 4 games.  He has 243 yards and a touchdown so far for the Knights, leading 2-13 at the start of the fourth quarter.
