Starting Oklahoma OL reportedly set to enter NCAA transfer portal
Oklahoma is reportedly set to lose a starting offensive lineman to the transfer portal.
Cayden Green, a true freshman who started 7 games for the Sooners in 2023, plans to enter the transfer portal after his lone season in Norman. The former 4-star prospect was considered to be one of the top offensive linemen in the Class of 2023 and made an immediate impact by totaling 568 snaps this past season.
According to an Oklahoma writer Green did not allow a sack in 293 pass protection snaps this past season, an impressive number for a freshman playing Big 12 competition.
Green stands at 6-5, 325 pounds and originally hails from Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

This move is surprising, to say the least. Some Oklahoma beat writers were confused to see Green not at practice, but they’ve quickly received their answer.
Well, we were all just looking for Cayden Green at #Sooners practice. Not sure any of us expected him to be in the portal though.
