By all accounts, quarterback Brice Ramsey will be the new face of the Georgia Bulldogs for the next few years. He allegedly has one of the strongest arms in the SEC and has shown a glimpse of it throughout this 2014 season.

He has the size of a legit quarterback at 6-foot-3 220 pounds, but needs a big offseason in the film room and with his teammates. People always underestimate the importance of being with your teammates and being the first one there and the last to leave.

He has time to grow both physically and mentally, as he’s only a freshman. Ramsey completed 24 of 39 passes this season with three touchdowns and two picks. That isn’t a whole lot of game reps, but it’s more than none. Any time you can get quality reps as a young quarterback, you have an advantage. Experience is huge in this league, especially for quarterbacks.

One thing that will benefit Ramsey above anything else is the fact that he will have one of the nation’s top running backs in Nick Chubb.

There’s no doubt that Chubb and the Bulldogs offense got a major momentum shift after their bowl victory over a good Louisville team. The offensive line is relatively young and should return three of five starters, including left tackle John Theus.

Ramsey will have to learn a new offense when coach Mark Richt hires a new offensive coordinator, but I have a feeling that Nick Chubb will be a big part of the game plan every week no matter what. This kid has the arm talent and the surrounding pieces to really have a special career at Georgia.

Look for Brice Ramsey and the Georgia offense to have a really good year in 2015.
