ACC football fans will soon know what the 2025 schedule looks like.
The conference’s account posted the reveal schedule on social media Wednesday. The reveal begins on Thursday with the Week 0 and Week 1 games revealed. On Friday, the ACC openers for all 17 teams will be announced. Finally, the full schedules will be revealed on Monday in a 2-hour special of ACC Huddle.
The SEC and Big Ten released their respective schedules in December, so the ACC will get to have the spotlight by hosting their reveal this late.
Per ESPN’s official press release:
ACC Huddle’s Taylor Tannebaum will host alongside analysts Eric Mac Lain, EJ Manuel, Eddie Royal and Mark Richt from ESPN’s Bristol, Conn. headquarters. The show will also feature select ACC head coaches as they react to their team’s schedules for the first time.
In 2025, the conference will continue to be without divisions and will feature 17 schools with 68 conference matchups. This scheduling model will remain in place through at least the 2030 season.
The ACC experienced a year of change in 2024. The conference added 3 new teams in SMU, California, and Stanford. SMU immediately proved it belonged in a power conference, finishing the season with an 11-3 record and earning appearances in the ACC Championship Game and College Football Playoff.
Cal and Stanford both struggled in their first seasons, both finishing with 2-6 records in ACC play. In 2025, it will be interesting to see if SMU can stay in the mix or if traditional powers like Clemson and Florida State will reign supreme again.
