Week 11 of ACC action is complete.

Here’s a game ball for every ACC team who played this weekend:

Boston College: Offensive line

Boston College ran all over Syracuse on Saturday in a 38-31 victory. Kye Robichaux totaled 198 yards and 2 touchdowns on 28 carries. Jordan McDonald chipped in 133 yards and a score on 15 carries. I couldn’t pick between them, so I’m giving the nod to the Boston College O-Line for paving the way for a 300+ yard day on the ground.

Cal: Fernando Mendoza, QB

Fernando Mendoza had himself a day this weekend vs. Wake Forest. He threw for 385 yards and 2 touchdowns while also leading the Golden Bears in rushing with 51 yards.

Clemson: Sammy Brown, LB

Sammy Brown earned his first-career start at linebacker for Clemson on Saturday and proceeded to lead the team in tackles while helping to shut down Virginia Tech’s run game. A great afternoon for the former 5-star freshman.

Duke: Maalik Murphy, QB

Duke has 7 wins now following its big victory over NC State on Saturday. Murphy played a big part in that, throwing for 245 yards and 2 touchdowns on the day.

Florida State: Samuel Singleton Jr., RB

It’s all about the future in Tallahassee, so it was nice to see second-year running back Samuel Singleton Jr. getting some good run on Saturday vs. Notre Dame. He averaged almost 6 yards per carry against the Fighting Irish in a 52-3 loss.

Georgia Tech: Haynes King, QB

Haynes King has been battling an injury this year, so what did he do in a game against the No. 4 team in the country? He ran the ball 20 times and completed all 6 of his passes for 32 yards and 1 touchdown. He averaged 4.7 yards per carry on the ground as well and scored again. It was a gutsy effort to bring Georgia Tech its sixth win of the season.

Miami: Cam Ward, QB

Cam Ward threw for 348 yards and 3 touchdowns in the loss to Georgia Tech. His Heisman campaign is still alive, but it is hurting after this result. Still, a solid game from him in the end.

NC State: Wesley Grimes, WR

Wesley Grimes scored NC State’s only touchdown of the day. He added 3 catches for 44 yards as well. After building some momentum in recent weeks, it was a pretty quiet game offensively for the Wolfpack.

Pittsburgh: Desmond Reid, RB

Desmond Reid led Pitt in both rushing yards (80) and receiving yards (43) in the loss to Virginia.

Syracuse: Kyle McCord, QB

Kyle McCord has endured an up-and-down season at Syracuse this season, but he had a solid game in the loss to Boston College. He threw for 392 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Virginia: Xavier Brown, RB

Xavier Brown had an awesome game against Pitt. He came up just shy of 100 scrimmage yards, but scored 2 touchdowns (1 rushing, 1 receiving) in Virginia’s 24-19 win over the Panthers.

Virginia Tech: Quentin Reddish, DB

Quentin Reddish gets the nod week for returning a blocked field goal for a touchdown in the first half against Clemson. That was their lone score of the game until garbage time hit.

Wake Forest: Taylor Morin, WR

Taylor Morin caught 9 passes for 110 yards in Wake’s loss to Cal over the weekend. It was a valiant effort in what is quickly becoming a lost season for the Demon Deacons.
