2020 Alabama signee leads high school team to Texas state title

Alabama signee Jase McClellan — a 4-star 2020 running back out of Texas — made headlines during the Early Signing Period, as he flipped from Oklahoma to Alabama at the last minute.
On Saturday, he brought his high school career to a strong close, leading his Aledo team to a 45-42 victory over Fort Bend Marshall in the Texas Class 5A Division II title game.
McClellan had a great night, rushing for 218 yards and 2 touchdowns. You can see highlights of his performance in the video below:

That win gave Aledo its second-straight state title and McClellan was a big reason for Saturday’s success.
Per the 247Sports composite rankings, McClellan is the No. 8 running back in the class of 2020 and the No. 6 overall recruit from the state of Texas.
