One of Alabama’s top commits has taken a huge step toward becoming a member of the Crimson Tide.

Five-star OLB Dylan Moses announced on Twitter that he has signed financial aid paperwork with the University of Alabama.

The paperwork is non-binding for Moses, but it’s a significant step toward enrolling at Alabama for the new semester in January. Moses, a Baton Rouge, La. native playing for the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., posted a tweet that read “Decisions, Decisions…The recruiting process is something serious..” on Dec. 1. The tweet has since been deleted, but it seemed to suggest that the one-time LSU commit was having second thoughts about his commitment with Alabama.

Now after signing the financial aid agreement papers, the Crimson Tide are permitted to have unlimited contact with Moses, even during the NCAA-mandated recruiting period that starts Monday.

Signing his papers with Alabama days after visiting LSU on Friday seems to suggest that Moses is now firm in his pledge to the Crimson Tide. Moses is rated the No. 8 overall recruit, No. 1 outside linebacker and No. 2 Florida prospect by 247Sports Composite.
