The Dallas Cowboys made a trade for former Alabama WR Amari Cooper last season, sending their first round pick in the upcoming 2019 NFL Draft to the Oakland Raiders.

Cooper played in nine games for the Cowboys, recording 53 catches for 725 yards and six touchdowns and becoming the star they needed at the receiver position.

On Tuesday, ahead of the NFL Combine, Dallas VP Stephen Jones was asked about watching the Raiders make the first-round pick that used to be theirs. Naturally, he took the time to troll Oakland by saying the Cowboys are much happier to have Cooper on their roster:

Cooper made the Pro Bowl for his outstanding year, and is under contract for the 2019 season as well.

Based on Jones’s comments, it’ll be interesting to see if the Cowboys sign Cooper to a new deal before this next NFL campaign kicks off.
