Alabama 5-star freshman injured in practice, Nick Saban says
One of Alabama’s highest-rated freshmen is dealing with an injury.
On Thursday, Nick Saban shared during his weekly radio show that freshman running back Camar Wheaton was injured in practice. Saban did not offer any further details on Wheaton’s injury.
Saban: “I like all four running backs that we have right now. Camar Wheaton got injured in practice and he was a really good young player that people don’t know about yet.”
Wheaton wasn’t on the field for warmups vs. Miami on Saturday.
