Alabama announces Players of the Week after win at LSU
Alabama picked up a big 42-13 win over LSU in Baton Rouge on Saturday. The Crimson Tide received a massive boost to their College Football Playoff at-large hopes while remaining in the SEC Championship Game chase.
The Tigers had no answer for Jalen Milroe on the ground as he torched them for a career-high 185 yards and 4 touchdowns on just 12 carries. Ironically, his previous high in rushing yards, 155, was set against LSU in 2023 in Tuscaloosa.
And, unsurprisingly, Milroe — who also threw for 109 yards — was Alabama’s offensive (skill) player of the week. Two of the Tide’s offensive linemen, guard Tyler Booker and center Parker Brailsford, were named the offensive (power) players of the week.
Of course, the defense had a major role to play for the Tide on Saturday. Domani Jackson and Malachi Moore finished the night with 13 combined tackles while DeVonta Smith pitched in 5 stops. Those three, along with Zabien Brown, were among the defensive (skill) players of the week. Meanwhile, Jihaad Campbell, who totaled 1.5 sacks and 3 tackles for a loss, gathered defensive (power) player of the week honors.
Here are all of the Tide’s players of the week from the win over the Tigers. Alabama hosts Mercer at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Week 12.

How you must feel to have better than a 50% chance to be one of woke Kalen’s 14 players of the game…and not get selected.
No Dawgs allowed. This is Bama territory go bark somewhere else.
No Dawgs allowed. This is Bama territory go bark somewhere else, like the losers section
Loser, go away
You have to admit, that was a little bit funny. 14 game balls awarded after every game? I’m surprised they have any to practice with this week…Question, if there were only 8 game balls given to defensive guys, how bad do you think those other 3 starters feel?
Everytime we get these guys putting down anything that a Bama player does that helps win, we need to make sure it gets to Bama’s lockeroom for additional game material. Thanks guys for the further inspiration for the team.
Might want to concentrate on your own team LH rather than trolling Bama. Loved seeing the Georgia player celebrating the Ole Miss win after the game. Pope did not learn that at Bama under Saban for sure. It is funny to watch though. Maybe he will sing Rocky Top next week.
