Alabama basketball has hit a rough stretch in recent weeks, and things do not get any easier as the calendar flips from January to February.

To ramp up the atmosphere over the weekend, Alabama has announced a white-out for Saturday’s huge non-conference matchup vs. No. 4 Baylor. That game is set for a 4 pm EST tip time on ESPN.

Nate Oats’ Crimson Tide squad started the year brilliantly with wins over Gonzaga, Houston, Tennessee, and Florida early on. Unfortunately, things have not been as positive of late.

In the last 6 games, Alabama is 2-4 with losses to sub-.500 teams in Missouri and most recently to Georgia. Things do not get any easier starting with Saturday’s game vs. Baylor.

The Tide’s next 3 games will be vs. No. 4 Baylor, at No. 1 Auburn, and vs. No. 12 Kentucky. Alabama still has time to straighten things out, but a couple of big upsets would go a long way to open the February schedule.
