Kelly had been at Alabama since 2019 before accepting the job with Sanders. Colorado is soon to become a hotbed for high level transfers and recruits. After all, who doesn’t want to play for Coach Prime?
It was reported earlier that Mike Zimmer was also considered for the defensive coordinator position at Colorado. It seems they were just rumors.
