Is this a bad omen for Alabama during the national anthem?
Alabama did not have much luck last year in the College Football Playoff, losing in the semifinal to Ohio State. The Crimson Tide do not trade in omens, but this one seems pretty bad.
The “Waaaaaaaarrrrrrr Eeeeeeeaaaaaaagggggglllllleeee” chant basically screams off the screen:

Yes, that would be a bald eagle heading down to the field during the singing of the national anthem. The same kind of event that happens before every game at Jordan-Hare Stadium in the Plain.
Is that a bad omen for Alabama?
On the Crimson Tide’s first play, they got called for a pass interference, but then quickly chased the Spartans off the field three plays later.
