It’s officially the offseason, and for one Alabama defensive lineman, it hasn’t started well.

Backup lineman and former 5-star prospect LaBryan Ray was arrested Friday for public intoxication, per the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office’s arrest database. Ray just completed his sophomore season at Alabama, and he appeared in all 15 games making 39 tackles and 2.5 sacks.

The Madison, Alabama, native’s bond was set at $500, and no other details are immediately available.

Ray was ranked as the nation’s No. 28 overall player and the state of Alabama’s No. 1 player in the class of 2017, per 247Sports Composite Rankings.
