Deion Sanders is expected to be a force in recruiting as a Power 5 head coach at Colorado. The transfer portal provides a prime opportunity for Sanders to quickly rebuild his roster with an infusion of talent.
Coach Prime already has a former 5-star recruit reaching out on social media. Trey Sanders, who entered the transfer portal last month as a graduate, tweeted at Deion Sanders asking about spots on the Colorado roster.

Out of the IMG Academy, Sanders was rated 5-stars and the No. 1 running back for 2019 on the 247Sports Composite. His Alabama, career, however, did not go as planned.
Sanders dealt with multiple injuries during his time in Tuscaloosa. After missing 2019 and redshirting, Sanders played in 26 games over the past 3 seasons. His most productive year was 2021, when he rushed 72 times for 314 yards and 2 touchdowns.
This season, Sanders played in 9 games, recording 14 carries for 80 yards and a TD. He last played against Austin Peay on Nov. 19.
