Published:

Alabama DL Da’Shawn Hand was injured in the third quarter against Ole Miss.

Hand took a shot to his knee from an Ole Miss blocker, and he was carted off the field.

Following the game, Nick Saban updated his status.

“Hand probably has an MCL strain. He will be evaluated in the morning,” Saban said after the game.

Here’s a replay of the hit:

Alabama has already lost pass rushers Christian Miller and Terrell Lewis for the season. So, it can’t afford to lose Hand for too long.
