With less than 24 hours to go before the 2019 Iron Bowl kicks off (2:30 p.m. CT, Saturday), Alabama’s official Twitter account dropped a hype video to get fans ready for the much-anticipated matchup in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

In a game that could determine whether or not Alabama stays alive in the College Football Playoff hunt, fans don’t need to be told about the importance of this one.

Check out the video here:

It’s the first time since 2011 that the Iron Bowl has no impact on the SEC West title. That was the year that Alabama and LSU met in a postseason rematch to decide the BCS Championship. Alabama is hoping that happens again, but some media members have speculated that the College Football Playoff selection committee is ranking teams to avoid another Tigers-Tide postseason rematch. LSU dropped to No. 2 in the most recent rankings. Alabama figures to be competing for the No. 4 ranking with an Iron Bowl win and some Rivalry Week/Championship Saturday help from around college football.

Alabama is a 3-point favorite on Saturday, according to the latest line from Caesars Sportsbook. The Crimson Tide won last year’s meeting 52-21 in Tuscaloosa. The Tigers won the last meeting in Jordan-Hare Stadium, 26-14 in 2017.
