Alabama encouraging fans to arrive early for LSU game due to 'heightened security'
Alabama announced in a press release Tuesday its plan to open Bryant-Denny Stadium three hours prior to kickoff in order to avoid accommodate the expected larger crowd and heightened security. Kickoff is at 3:30 pm ET.
The stadium will open at 11:30 am CT.
Concussion stands will also open at 11:30, and the games from the early time slot will be on the video boards.
It expects to be be a crazy scene in Tuscaloosa on Saturday, as ESPN’s College Gameday will also be in town. Alabama issued a reminder for fans in the same press release that the College Gameday set will be on the northeast corner of the Quad near Lloyd Hall. The show will air live on ESPN from 8-11 am local time.
