Alabama fans praised for impressive showing at SEC Championship Game in Atlanta
Alabama fans have lived a life of luxury since Nick Saban took over the program back in 2007. When you’ve won 6 national championships in since 2009, there’s not a sense of urgency felt by many fan bases.
In recent years, even Saban has implored fans and students to show up for games against lesser opponents and stay for all 4 quarters.
So there also needs to be credit given where it’s due. Alabama is playing No. 1 Georgia in Atlanta on Saturday evening and by all accounts from those watching and those in attendance, the pro-Alabama fans are loud.
Here’s a sampling of the reaction to Alabama’s crowd noise via social media:
I've seen Alabama play in quite a few SEC Championship Games and BCS/Playoff Games. I would be hard pressed to remember a time previously in those games their fans were as loud as they are today.

This is a huge game for the Crimson Tide, as they need to make a statement to impress the College Football Playoff committee to jump from No. 8 into the top 4 on Sunday.
The fans will continue roaring for Alabama. Can the Tide players take advantage?
