Alabama fans roar 'Dixieland Delight' during win over Tennessee
Alabama fans had to watch a year ago as Tennessee fans sang “Dixieland Delight” while smoking cigars following the Vols’ win over the Tide.
But on Saturday, the song rang out across Bryant-Denny Stadium after Alabama took a 34-20 lead over Tennessee in the 4th quarter, and fans were loving it.

Many fans even began lighting their cigars as the clock ran down, and luckily for those fans, Alabama was able to hold on and win the game.
Things weren’t looking good for Alabama in the first half as Tennessee took a 20-7 lead heading into halftime, but the Tide turned things around in the second half, scoring 27 unanswered points to win the game. The 13-point comeback was Alabama’s largest comeback since 1995.
The win for Alabama will spark even more confidence as the Tide look to make their way into the SEC Championship. Alabama will get a breather next weekend with the bye week before playing a season-defining game against LSU to start the November slate.
