Alabama flips elite Ohio State commit Jordan Battle

Nick Saban has won the Battle, literally.

Alabama flipped long-time Ohio State DB commit Jordan Battle (Ft. Lauderdale, Florida).

The St. Thomas Aquinas standout had been committed to Ohio State since late June, and he flipped Wednesday morning to start the Early Signing Period for the Tide. This wasn’t too unexpected for the Buckeyes.

The 6-foot-1, 187-pound player is rated a 4-star prospect and ranked as the nation’s No. 6 overall safety and the state of Florida’s No. 10 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

If all goes accordingly, this could be Nick Saban’s best overall class that he’s signed at Alabama. That’s scary for everyone else in college football.
