Alabama gives injury update on multiple key players for Tennessee game
Alabama seems to be getting healthier ahead of its Week 8 matchup against Tennessee.
Alabama released an updated availability report on Thursday evening and there’s some good news for the Crimson Tide: wide receivers Kendrick Law and Kobe Prentice were no longer listed, indicating they should be available vs. the Vols.
Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer said Wednesday during the SEC coaches teleconference that he considered both players to be probable.
“Right now, I would say they’re probable,” DeBoer said. “Just continue to work through practices and feeling better and better about it, I think, each and every day.”
Looking through the rest of the latest injury report, running back Daniel Hill was downgraded to out and defensive back Keon Sabb was added to the list with a status of “probable.”
Linebacker Cayden Jones is listed as out with defensive back Domani Jackson and linebacker Yhonzae Pierre both probable for the game against the Vols.
Here’s the full availability report for Alabama-Tennessee as of Thursday evening:
Alabama and Tennessee are set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday in Neyland Stadium.
Gotta be a big boost to Bama if Sabb makes it back, same for the other UT if Heard is back on the OLine. Should be a heck of a game, looking forward to watching that one.
If Heard is back? He played the last game, but thanks for your insight. That’s really some pertinent info. Thanks for sharing, don’t know what we would do without your informative and witty comment on every single article.
Hoping the Dawgs take care of business also on Saturday. That’s the biggest game. Bama D better show up. Roll Tide!!!
