Alabama will have a chance to clinch the SEC West when they travel to take on Kentucky on Saturday.

The No. 8 Crimson Tide (8-1) most recently defeated visiting No. 14 LSU 42-28. Kentucky (6-3) is coming off a 24-3 victory at Mississippi State.

Prior to the matchup, Alabama dropped an intense hype video that speaks to silencing the crowd at Kroger Field.

Alabama has had plenty of success vs. Kentucky regardless of the venue. Alabama leads the all-time series 38-2-1 against Kentucky, with a 7-game winning streak vs. the Wildcats. In the last meeting, Alabama routed Kentucky 63-3 in 2020 from Tuscaloosa. The last matchup in Lexington was a 48-7 Alabama victory in 2013.

The ESPN FPI is giving Alabama odds of 85.7 percent to earn the victory at Kentucky. Alabama can also secure the division this weekend if Ole Miss loses at Georgia.

Nick Saban isn’t taking Kentucky lightly, though.

“Kentucky is a completely different kind of team than what we played against a week ago and what we did last week is not going to have any impact on what we do this week,” Saban said via The AP. “They’ve got great balance on offense. Their defense is tough and physical and really well-coached in terms of what they do.”

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe has played excellent as of late. During the victory vs. LSU, the sophomore rushed for 155 yards and 4 touchdowns while also passing for 219 yards.

Alabama at Kentucky is slated for 12 p.m. EST on ESPN.
