Alabama is a finalist for a standout (position) in the transfer portal.

Aaron Estrada, the back-to-back Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year, has trimmed his list of options to 4. The Crimson Tide are in the mix, along with Cincinnati, Florida State and Kansas State.

Estrada is no stranger to the transfer portal, beginning his career at Saint Peter’s for the 2019-20 season before transferring to Oregon for 2020-21 and spending the last 2 seasons at Hofstra.

Estrada started all 63 games he played at Hofstra. His scoring average increased from 18.5 points per game in 2021-22 to 20.2 points per game this past season. He also saw a slight uptick in playing time, logging 37.2 minutes per contest in 2022-23, up from 35.1 the previous season.

At Hofstra, Estrada consistently shot just under 48% from the floor. He also averaged 5.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game as a 6-3 point guard.
