Alabama had a great day in LSU’s backyard Monday.

The Crimson Tide picked up two commitments from Louisiana. 2016 three-star safety Joshua Perry and 2018 offensive tackle Dare Rosenthal both committed to Alabama.

Perry is ranked as the No. 37 best player in the state of Louisiana for 2016 and is considered the No. 39 overall safety. His star ranking is sure to improve during his upcoming senior season. Perry became Alabama’s eighth commitment in the ’16 recruiting class.

Rosenthal, on the other hand, is a massive prospect. The 6-7, 290-pound tackle became Bama’s first commitment in the class of ’18. He doesn’t yet have a star ranking, but he’ll be one of the biggest prospects in the class.
