Alabama lands 2025 commitment from RB, former Michigan State pledge

Alabama has swiped a running back recruit out of Michigan State’s backyard.
Jace Clarizio had been committed to the hometown Spartans since May 14. On Tuesday, however, he announced that he is now a member of the Crimson Tide’s 2025 recruiting class.

Out of East Lansing (Michigan) High School, Clarizio’s listed measurements are 6-feet and 190 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Clarizio is rated 3-stars, the No. 6 player in the state of Michigan, No. 37 running back and No. 493 prospect overall in the Class of 2025.
Clarizio picked up 17 scholarship offers during his recruitment. Alabama worked quickly, extending a scholarship offer on Nov. 6 and getting him on campus the following week.
