Alabama celebrated its SEC title by adding another sought-after SEC recuit to its 2015 class on Monday when four-star recruit Adonis Thomas announced he had chosen the Crimson Tide.

Thomas, a 6-foot-3, 229 pound linebacker from Lawrenceville, Ga., adds yet another touted player to Alabama’s recruiting class. He decommitted from Florida shortly before Will Muschamp was fired. Thomas was also considering LSU and was reportedly scheduled to visit Georgia this weekend. He is the 11th-ranked outside linebacker in his class and the 19th-ranked player in Georgia, per 247sports.com.

With the addition of Thomas, Alabama’s top-ranked recruiting class, also per 247sports.com’s rankings, grows to 22 players. The class includes four five-star players, 14 four-stars and four three-stars.
